KP Astrology Deep Dive: Which Life Area Reading Do You Need?

The Annual Reading is broad. It judges every cusp for the year — career, marriage, health, money, travel, education — in one document. That breadth is the right answer when you want a year-long overview, and the wrong answer when one decision in one area is what keeps you up at night. For that, you need a KP astrology Deep Dive: one life area, every classical KP rule for it judged on your chart, and the delivering periods over the next three years.

A Deep Dive does not summarise. It takes the full set of rules classical KP writing gives for the chosen area — each with its deciding cusp and its required houses — judges every one of them on your birth chart, and then times the ones that are promised. Nothing is inferred: a matter the writing does not cover is refused rather than guessed.

The Seven Deep Dive Areas

1. Career Deep Dive

For anyone weighing a job offer, a change of employer, a business of their own, a promotion that keeps slipping, or retirement. The rules run from the 10th and 6th cusps: profession, service and business are promised when the cusp sub lord signifies any one of houses 2, 6, 10 or 11; leaving a job, a change of place and a job abroad each have their own cusp and houses. 2. Marriage Deep Dive

For anyone asking whether and when marriage is promised, whether a relationship will formalise, or what a second marriage looks like on the chart. The 7th cusp sub lord decides: signifying any one of 2, 7 or 11 promises marriage; the houses classical KP names against marriage are 1, 6, 10 and 12, and they annotate rather than cancel. Marriage and separation are stated as a pair on the 7th cusp, so they are read once, with both sides' houses named. 3. Health Deep Dive

For anyone with a recurring complaint, a treatment ahead, or a wish to know what the chart promises about recovery. Cure and illness are a pair on the 6th cusp: recovery runs on houses 1, 5 and 11, while 6, 8 and 12 are the houses classical KP names against health. The two sides are read once from the cusp — one verdict, both sets of houses on the page. The report never times death or longevity, and does not predict the onset of a named disease. The rules run from the 2nd and 11th cusps (accumulated wealth and gains), with the 5th where speculation is the matter; 5, 8 and 12 are the houses classical KP names against wealth. The 5th cusp sub lord decides whether children are promised through houses 2, 5 and 11, and the periods whose lords jointly cover those houses are the ones in which the promise can be delivered. The rules run from the 12th, 9th and 3rd cusps — foreign residence, long journeys and departure — on houses 3, 9 and 12; a job in a desired place abroad is its own rule on houses 2, 6, 10 and 11. How Every KP Astrology Deep Dive Is Read

Whatever the area, the method is the same, and it is the method classical KP writing states:

1. The rules for the area. Each rule names the cusp that decides it and the houses it requires. The Deep Dive judges every rule in the area's table, not a selection.
2. The cusp sub lord, at three levels. The sub lord of the deciding cusp is read as the planet, its star lord, and its sub lord; at each level the houses that planet occupies and owns are collected. Three steps — there is no sub-sub lord step.
3. The promise test. If the sub lord signifies any one required house, the rule is PROMISED — even alongside adverse houses. It is NOT PROMISED only when the sub lord is connected to the adverse houses exclusively. Adverse houses are the ones classical KP states for that matter; they never subtract, they annotate: "promised, with difficulty."
4. The delivering periods. A promised matter happens in a Vimshottari period whose Maha, Antar and Pratyantar lords jointly signify all the timing houses, each lord contributing a house the others do not, with the Maha lord signifying at least one. Promise takes any one house; delivery takes all of them. The periods that meet the bar inside the three-year horizon are listed in time order — unranked, with the count stated. There is no "strongest window."
5. Transit agreement. Across a multi-year horizon the Sun is scanned against each Maha-Antar stretch, and the stretches where its sign, star and sub lords all fall among the period lords are noted. Transit corroborates a period already chosen by the dasha; it never decides.
6. Promised, but untimed. Rules the chart promises for which no period in three years meets the delivery bar are listed as such. Those rows are often the most useful ones: a promise without a period is a matter to hold lightly until its time.
7. Rules in more than one form. Where classical KP gives a rule in more than one form, every form is judged and the report says whether they agree, rather than picking one.
8. Birth-time sensitivity. For each cusp read, the report states how many minutes the recorded birth time could move before its sub lord changes.

Verdicts are two-valued — PROMISED or NOT PROMISED — with three possible annotations: "with difficulty", "no delivering period inside the horizon", and "KP gives this rule in more than one form." No scores, no percentages and no grades. Its one suggestion is practical: a step for the matters of the houses under the most strain — never a gemstone, mantra or ritual.
