No. You don't need an astrologer or a paid consultation. Every report is worked out from your chart by written KP rules and written in plain English, with dates. There are no astrologer calls or live sessions on this site. Use the time on your birth certificate or hospital record, or ask family. Check AM or PM. If you only know it roughly, enter your best guess and correct it later from Edit birth details. The closer to the minute, the sharper the answers: in KP a few minutes can change which planet rules a house.

KP Astrology is a stellar (nakshatra-and-sub) system of astrology developed by Prof. K.S. Krishnamurti. It uses an advanced sub-lord and cuspal-link methodology for greater event-timing precision than broader planetary-position methods. It is widely regarded among practitioners for its timing-focused approach.

KP (Krishnamurti Paddhati) is a precise method within Indian astrology. It uses the same planets, signs, nakshatras and dasha periods as a regular kundli, but it counts the houses differently: each house starts at an exact degree worked out from your birth time and place (Placidus cusps) instead of taking one whole sign. And it decides each matter by the sub lord of that house's cusp, not by house lords and placements. So your KP chart can place a planet one house away from your kundli. That is expected, not an error: see why your KP chart may not match your kundli.

KP (Krishnamurti Paddhati) is a precise method within Indian astrology. It uses the same planets, signs, nakshatras and dasha periods as the kundli you may already have. But it counts the houses differently, so your chart here can look different. That is expected, not an error.

• Houses. A regular kundli gives each house one whole sign: the rising sign is house 1, the next sign house 2. KP starts each house at an exact degree worked out from your birth time and place (Placidus cusps). Houses come in different sizes and can begin part-way through a sign, so a planet can sit one house earlier or later here than in your kundli.
• Zodiac setting. KP uses the KP New ayanamsa, a few arc-minutes from the Lahiri setting most apps use. Signs almost never change, but dasha dates can move by days or weeks.
• Sub lords. KP splits the sky into 249 small parts. The planet ruling the part where a house begins (its sub lord) decides the answer. That can change within a few minutes of birth time, which is why an exact time matters.

Your planets' signs will almost always match. The houses are what differ, and every report here is read from these KP houses. You never need to read the chart yourself: each report explains it in plain English.

Both are right for their own method; they count houses differently. Most kundli apps use whole signs. KP starts each house at an exact degree (the cusp), so houses come in different sizes and can begin part-way through a sign. A planet can fall on the other side of where a house begins, so it moves one house forward or back. The planet's degree is the same in both charts. KP rules are written for cusps, so every KP reading uses them. Your chart page shows each planet's KP house and points out the planets drawn in one house's sign box but counted in another.

Dasha dates come from the Moon's exact degree at birth. We use the KP New ayanamsa, a few arc-minutes from the Lahiri value most apps use, and a 365.25-day year. That small shift moves period start dates by anywhere from a few days to about seven weeks.

That is usually the birth details, not KP. Check the time (AM/PM), the place, and whether the other app used the right time zone or summer time. We work out the time zone from the birth place and date automatically. Only a rising sign or Moon right at the edge of a sign can be tipped by the small ayanamsa difference.

In KP astrology, your predictions change significantly with even a few minutes difference in birth time. Even a 2-minute difference can completely alter the prediction. This is why KP asks for a birth time recorded to the minute.

Monthly and Annual reports show what each stretch of the period can carry; Ask a Question reads one matter's promise from its cuspal sub lord, with delivering periods and candidate days; a Deep Dive takes one life area in depth.

Readings are usually ready in about a minute; an Annual reading, which judges every rule and every stretch of the year, can take a little longer. You'll see a live progress tracker while it works, and the report is emailed to you as a PDF.

Yes. A question uses 1 reading (1 reading ₹99; 7 readings + 30 Day reports ₹599; 15 readings + 30 Day reports ₹999), which answers it in full: the verdict, the delivering dasha periods, the candidate days inside them, and — where KP gives the rule in more than one form — how many of those forms are promised. A question no KP rule covers is declined and not charged. The free Day reports on a new account pay for Day reports only.

Vimshottari Dasha is the primary planetary period system used in KP astrology. It divides a person's life into major planetary periods, sub-periods, and micro-periods. Each level is ruled by a planet whose influence determines the events and predictions for that time in your life.
