Natal Promise Deep Dive is the report we recommend you order first — before any time-period reading, before any synastry, before muhurta. The reason is structural: KP is a system that distinguishes between what the chart promises (the Cuspal Sub-Lord verdict per life area) and how the chart delivers (the significator composition that activates the promise). Every other report assumes you already know your chart's structural promises. Deep Dive is the report that establishes them.
The reading is 8,000-10,000 words across eight chapters — from the opening chart signature and the Rahu-Ketu karmic axis through Health, Career, Wealth, Relationships and Mind & Higher Pursuits, to a closing karmic theme. Each life event is graded on a 5-tier verdict — STRONG / GOOD / MODERATE / WEAK / DENIED — composed from two layers: the Promise (the Cuspal Sub-Lord verdict) and the Delivery (the Grade A/B/C/D significator composition). The delivery overlay is what makes the report actionable.
Methodology
What 'Promise' Actually Means in KP
KP separates a life event into three structurally distinct questions:
- Is it promised? — answered by the Cuspal Sub-Lord of the relevant house. Binary: yes / yes-with-friction / silent / no.
- How will it be delivered? — answered by the Grade A/B/C/D significator stack. Strong delivery = multiple Grade-A planets in the relevant houses; weak delivery = mostly Grade-C or D with cross-aspects.
- When does delivery open? — answered by the Vimshottari Maha/Antar sequence. For Career, Wealth and Relationships, the Deep Dive names the three structurally strongest dasha windows of the lifetime, with start and end dates.
The Deep Dive answers the first two for every life event it grades — the promise (Cuspal Sub-Lord) and the delivery quality (significators) — and adds the lifetime dasha-window map for the three areas where timing matters most. Knowing only the promise without the delivery is less actionable, which is why Deep Dive is the recommended starting point for understanding the chart.
The Eight Chapters
- 1. Opening Chart Signature. The chart's structural fingerprint — its 2-3 strongest natal promises and its 1-2 most decisive denials, named up front.
- 2. Karmic Signature. The Rahu-Ketu axis read across the natal houses — what this chart came in to learn (Rahu pole) and what it came in to let go of (Ketu pole).
- 3. Self, Vitality & Health — houses 1, 6, 8, 12. Constitutional strength, the vulnerability composition, vitality vs. drains. Conservative by design — no death-date predictions.
- 4. Career & Vocation — houses 10, 2, 6, 11. Profession axis, income stability, recognition — closing with the three strongest career-favourable dasha windows of the lifetime.
- 5. Wealth & Material Life — houses 2, 11, 5, 8, 9. Income paths, speculation, debt, inheritance — closing with the three strongest wealth-favourable windows.
- 6. Relationships & Family — houses 7, 5, 2, 4. Marriage promise (7th-cusp Sub-Lord primacy), children, family — closing with the three strongest relationship-favourable windows.
- 7. Mind, Travel & Higher Pursuits — houses 3, 9, 12. Communication, foreign promise, education arc, spiritual axis.
- 8. Closing Karmic Theme. One essential life-theme — the chart's centre of gravity — and a structural orientation the native can carry forward.
Sample Verdict — Career & Vocation Chapter
Career rise / promotion — verdict: STRONG
Promise. 10th-cusp Sub-Lord = Saturn. Saturn signifies houses 6 (service), 10 (profession), 11 (gains). Triple signification of the work axis → promised without contradiction.
Delivery. The 10-2-6-11 axis carries 4 Grade-A significators (Saturn, Mercury, Sun, Jupiter) and 2 Grade-B (Venus, Moon) — a dense delivery bench.
Composition: employed-track senior leadership. 6th-house dominance (service / employment) over 7th-house (independent business) means the career trajectory is most efficient inside an institution, not as a founder.
The chapter closes with the three strongest career-favourable Maha/Antar windows of this lifetime — each with start and end dates and the planet-grade mechanism behind it.
Verdicts at this depth run through every chapter — each life event graded STRONG / GOOD / MODERATE / WEAK / DENIED from its promise and delivery layers, then synthesised into continuous prose rather than a table dump. The full report contains all eight chapters, closing with the karmic-theme chapter that names where the chart's centre of gravity lies.
Closing Karmic Theme — Where the Chart's Centre of Gravity Lies
The closing chapter is what readers most often cite as the report's highest-value section. Reading the chapters in isolation is useful but incomplete — every chart has a centre of gravity, a life area that dominates structurally and pulls energy from the others. The closing chapter names it.
- Career-dominant charts. 10th-cusp Sub-Lord is the strongest single significator and the 2-6-10-11 axis is the densest. Identity, self-worth, and major dasha activations route through career. Health and relationships are often supportive but secondary.
- Wealth-dominant charts. 2nd and 11th-cusp Sub-Lords are exceptionally strong with a clean 5-house involvement (speculative aptitude). Career may be modest in stature but materially well-compensated. Relationship choices often shaped by financial considerations.
- Relationship-dominant charts. 7th-cusp Sub-Lord signifies 2-7-11 cleanly with no 6-8-12 contamination, and Venus is exceptionally well-placed. Major life decisions route through partnership choices; the career arc often pivots around relationship transitions.
- Health-dominant charts. 1st-cusp Sub-Lord has unusually clean signification and Jupiter is well-placed. Often appears in healers, athletes, or those whose physical resilience defines their public identity.
- Learning-dominant charts. 9th-cusp Sub-Lord is exceptionally strong with Mercury or Jupiter in dignified placement. Identity routes through expertise, credentials, scholarly work, or specialised mastery.
Most charts blend two centres of gravity. The closing chapter names the dominant theme and gives one structural orientation the native can carry forward — an orientation, not a forecast.
The Five Verdict Tiers — How to Interpret Each Honestly
The 5-tier verdict (STRONG / GOOD / MODERATE / WEAK / DENIED) is the single most actionable element of the report. KP doctrine is unsentimental about each tier and the report frames them carefully:
- STRONG. The structural promise is robust and the delivery composition is dense with Grade-A and Grade-B significators. The chart's clearest green light.
- GOOD. Promise is real and delivery is solid but not exceptional. In practice the most common verdict.
- MODERATE. Promise is partial (some signification of promoting houses combined with some contamination from negation houses) and delivery is mixed. Activation possible but conditional on supporting choices.
- WEAK. Promise is structurally faint or silent — the relevant Cuspal Sub-Lord barely touches the promoting houses, and the significator stack is thin. Activation requires unusual dasha alignment and active life-energy investment.
- DENIED. Cuspal Sub-Lord signifies only negation houses (6-8-12 for the relevant axis). KP doctrine treats this as structurally denied in this lifetime. The report explicitly frames how to interpret a DENIED verdict responsibly — it's the strongest single input from the chart, but not a final pronouncement, and many DENIED verdicts have produced fulfilling non-traditional expressions.
What You Get

- Lifetime dasha windows for Career, Wealth and Relationships — the three structurally strongest Maha/Antar windows of the lifetime per area, with start and end dates and the chart mechanism behind each.
- Karmic signature — the Rahu-Ketu axis read across the natal houses: the learning pole and the letting-go pole of the chart.
- Closing karmic-theme chapter — where the chart's centre of gravity lies, and one structural orientation to carry forward.
- 8,000-10,000 word reading in continuous prose, not bullet-list summaries. Equivalent depth to a multi-hour session with a senior KP astrologer.
How the Deep Dive Compares to Other Reports
The Deep Dive is the broadest and deepest reading we offer. Other reports zoom in:
- vs Single-Area Deep Dive. Single-Area Deep Dives zoom in on one life area (Career, Marriage, Health, Wealth, Children, or Foreign) with a full report on just that area — including its five strongest and five weakest dasha windows over the coming five years. The Natal Promise Deep Dive covers every life domain at less depth per area. Most readers do Deep Dive first, then order Single-Area Deep Dives on the domains that came back WEAK or MODERATE.
- vs Annual Forecast. The Annual Forecast maps the year ahead — the event windows that open month by month across life areas; Deep Dive is the structural foundation that explains why those windows matter for your chart. Deep Dive first, Annual second.

Frequently Asked Questions
Per KSK (Krishnamurti) doctrine, Ruling Planets are reserved for horary and muhurta readings only — they should not be used for natal-driven analysis. Older KP software conflated the two and produced muddled output. The engine strips Ruling Planets from all natal-driven reports including the Deep Dive: here every verdict is composed from the Promise (Cuspal Sub-Lord) and Delivery (Grade A/B/C/D significator) layers. Ruling Planets stay reserved for Muhurta and the horary-style Ask-a-Question report.
Deep Dive reads structural promises that don't change — your Cuspal Sub-Lord verdicts are fixed at birth. The delivery overlay and dasha timing will need refreshing roughly every 5 years (when the running Mahadasha-Antardasha changes meaningfully), but the structural blueprints are lifetime-stable. Most readers order Deep Dive once and then layer Daily / Monthly / Annual reports on top.
KP doctrine is conservative — a DENIED verdict means the Cuspal Sub-Lord structurally denies the event in this lifetime, and remedies do not override it. That said, DENIED is the rarest verdict in practice, and many charts with a DENIED relationship verdict have produced fulfilling non-traditional relationships. Treat DENIED as the strongest single input from the chart, not a final pronouncement. The report includes explicit framing on how to interpret each verdict tier responsibly.
No — the Deep Dive is structural, not event-dated. The only dated content is the lifetime dasha-window map: the three strongest Maha/Antar windows each for Career, Wealth and Relationships, with start and end dates set by the natural Antar boundaries. The cusp-driven verdicts assume an accurate birth time — if yours is uncertain, rectify first, because the verdicts can shift with the corrected time. For event-dating within a specific horizon, order the Annual Forecast or a Single-Area Deep Dive.
Generation typically takes a few minutes — the engine grades the chart's life events through the promise and delivery layers, composes the eight chapters, and renders the PDF. You receive an email with the PDF attached the moment generation completes.
