The 7th house in KP astrology is the most important house for marriage, life partner, business partnerships, marital happiness, and public dealings. It represents the spouse's nature, appearance, and the quality of the marital relationship. The 7th house also governs all types of partnerships including business associates and contractual agreements.

How the 7th Cusp Sub Lord Is Read in KP Astrology
The sub lord of the 7th cusp is the single deciding factor for marriage in KP astrology; the cusp's star lord plays no part. The sub lord is read at three levels: the planet itself, its star lord, and its sub lord. At each level the houses that planet occupies and owns are collected. Three steps, not four.
If any one of houses 2, 7 or 11 appears among those significations, marriage is PROMISED. The 2nd is family growth, the 7th is marriage itself, and the 11th is the fulfilment of the wish for a partner. The test asks for any one of the three, and it holds even when adverse houses sit alongside. Marriage is NOT PROMISED only when the sub lord is connected to adverse houses exclusively.
Adverse Houses for Marriage: Stated, Never Subtracted
