How KP astrology reads Scorpio Career

For a Scorpio ascendant Mars owns both the 1st (the native's own effort) and the 6th (daily job, service, competition). That double ownership is the KP fingerprint of Scorpio career charts, but KP never stops at sign lords. The 10th cusp — Leo, Sun-ruled — has a sign lord and a star lord printed on the chart; neither gives the verdict. The 10th-cusp sub lord does. It is read at three levels — the planet itself, its star lord and its sub lord — and at each level the houses that planet occupies and owns are collected. Three steps, not four.
