How KP astrology reads Sagittarius Career

For a Sagittarius ascendant Jupiter owns the 1st (the native's self-direction) and the 4th (home base). The 10th cusp falls in Virgo: Mercury is its sign lord, and the cusp's star lord is printed beside it, but neither gives the verdict — the 10th-cusp sub lord does. It is read at three levels — the planet itself, its star lord and its sub lord — and at each level the houses that planet occupies and owns are collected. Three steps, not four. If any one of houses 2, 6, 10 or 11 appears in that collection, career advancement is PROMISED, even when adverse houses sit beside it; the writing calls that "promised, with difficulty". It is NOT PROMISED only when the sub lord is connected to adverse houses exclusively. Adverse houses annotate a verdict; they never subtract from it.
